Apocalyptic This production seems to successfully evoke all
the horrors of a time when society has broken down, perhaps after a nuclear catastrophe, a great war or an environmental disaster
- a time, especially, when there is no decent recording equipment to be found.
I would love to hear this song - really
hear it clearly, because it sounds like somebody held a cheap microphone into a rat-infested culvert where this musician was
huddling to escape detection from the nefarious forces of his apocalyptic scenario. All I are can hear are scraps of phrases
like "imagine the terror" and allusions to "passion", "horror" and "jealousy", so I can guess it's pretty heavy stuff.
The
overall melody, chords and song structure sound absolutely excellent, and remind me of early Pink Floyd with Syd Barrett.
Or maybe of an alternate universe version of Al Stewart as a dark, despairing doomsaying prophet. It's definitely acoustic,
with a competently-strummed guitar and an undefinable percussive instrument, perhaps someone banging a pipe against a wet
and slime-covered rock.
But I liked it. If I could only pick out all the words and hear the music a bit more clearly
it would be great.

Yep, and according to Harper John Nostradamus
also predicted the honors due Ray Davies of "The Kinks" fame. On page #3 The
Nostradamus Bible Code, speaking of Raymond Douglas Davies says, "In retrospect, perhaps
the premier songwriter of the latter 20th. Century,." A bold statement indeed, yet it was he who
made a CBE by his Queen just a year after this judgement of the stars was pronounced! The same page of The Nostradamus Bible Code also treats of his Xray - something that was viewed
with terror after his shooting in 2004!
. . . and don't forget the historic . . .
the Nostradamus Cabala Code . . .
of 9/11 fame

Welcome to the junky gin-splattered world
of
HONG KONG LAPSAP:
"Before the end of the nineteenth
century Hong Kong refuse was disposed of by contractors who took it in junks and dumped
it at sea. There could not have been much, probably some 20 to 30 tons per day, but
it is recorded that when weather conditions were not favourable it was to be taken
to Gin Drinkers Bay which soon became known as "Lap Sap Wan"the bay for rubbish and this name appears on charts
which were made at that time. There is on file, Sir, a letter dated 30th June, 1900
addressed to the President of the Sanitary Board complaining that the watchman of
the rubbish dump at Lap Sap Wan was not properly carrying out his duties as he was allowing the rubbish to be tipped into the sea."

"Bitter-bitta" poetry:
All my life I've been working for money,
Working for money, but I ain't saved a dime.
It's easy for you to say give up the money,
Born to a rich man and still in your prime.
Michael he tells me to cross o'r the Pasig
Cross o'r the river to Rizal's fair lands,
But mother she's wanting a new coat for Easter
And her dutiful son obeys all her commands.
So I don't think I'll ever,
Ever find the time,
To paint the wild flowers
That grow in my mind.
And as you get older the monsoons get bolder,
The palms of your hands lose a grip of her spans.
Well, I've painted that old iron bridge cross the river,
I've painted that mother near thirty-four times.
And I don't think I'll ever,
Ever find the time,
To paint the wild flowers
That grow in my mind.
If you don't wan't this stuff for free you can buy yourself
one of a thousand 100 year old gramophone records I have

MY FATHER WAS A THINKING MAN
'TIL HE WENT TO FIGHT IN IRAQ.
MY FATHER FOUGHT FOR FREEDOM
BUT HE NEVER MADE IT BACK.
MY MOTHER WAS A TAILOR,
SHE SEWED THE STRIPES ON HIM.
MY MOTHER WAS A TAILOR,
NOW SHE'S DOWN TO SWIGGING GIN.
SO MOTHERS TELL YOU CHILDREN
NOT TO DO WHAT MY MAMA DONE.
NEVER SEW A BOY A UNIFORM,
NEVER GIVE A MAN A GUN.
ONE FOOT ON THE GANGWAY,
ONE FOOT ON THE PLANE.
HE WENT TO FIGHT FOR FREEDOM,
BUT DID NOT COME HOME AGAIN.
AH, IT'S THE RICH THAT GET THE PLEASURES,
THE BURNING BUSH THE FAME,
BUT THE MAN THAT DIES FOR ALL THEIR LIES,
WHY, THEY SHOOT HIM DOWN IN FLAMES.
AH, IT'S THE RICH THAT GET THE PLEASURES
THE BURNING BUSH THE FAME,
BUT THE MAN THAT DIES FOR ALL THEIR LIES,
NEVER SPOKEN OF AGAIN.
YES, IT'S THE RICH THAT GET THE PLEASURES,
THE THINKING MAN THE PAIN.
IT'S THE SAME THE WHOLE WORLD OVER.

DEDMA - dead malice by any other game. Hold back justified emotion with dignified cool.
Dedma: Polite defiant pride, I have overcome, you will not break my spirit, triumphant
contained anger, you can Rizal me but you can’t defeat me, with all your power - even then I will not crack, my mind
is my muscle, I will bow down as a sign that I have not, iron will will see me through ... or maybe it's just the Celtic Dharma of

Why this name? Dedma is where it's at for nine tenths of the worlds

Yer, but I love the real people of the Sillipines,
'cos they ain't machines,
Full of laughter, wit and dreams.
Foolish my friend,
You always tell me, that's what you sell me,
But I ain't buying, in fact I'm trying
To laugh again, to smile
. . .man it's been a while.
Foolish you tell me, but I ain't buying,
Ain't even trying . . .

But buy another bottle and then she's OK

At the pill-at-ease American.
"Da-do-Ron-Ron", they do us wrong . . .
Enron and your money's gone:
And SwartSINegger's playing Vegas,
Says he'll be the one to save us?
You got your "stars" and we got ours!
Believe me bro . . .
and the burning Bush is gonna slave us,
aint that so?
We'd better start our own country,
Funky manchild, brother-hood.
We'll constitute in Rap and Blues ...
Have TV anchors weigh the knightly news.
And politicos feel the pain of gain,
So they'll never want to tattoo you again,
. . . Or give the country back to Spain?
Or watch it all go down the drain?
I don't think so!
Rap my knuckles bro, let's go!
